How MAREA Catering handles personal data you share through this website, in line with the GDPR (EU 2016/679) and Spanish law LOPDGDD 3/2018.

What data we collect
Through the quote form, the booking form and the chat we collect the data you enter yourself: name, email address, telephone number, event date, location, number of guests, menu preference and any message or dietary notes.
Why we use it
Solely to answer your request, prepare a quote, plan your event and keep in touch about that booking. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Legal basis
Your request constitutes pre-contractual steps at your request (article 6.1.b GDPR) and, for any remaining communication, your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR).
Who processes it
Requests are stored in our own secured database and forwarded by email so our team can respond. Processors act under a data processing agreement and only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not lead to a booking are kept for a maximum of 12 months. Bookings are kept for the period required by Spanish tax and accounting law.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing at any time by emailing info@mareacatering.es. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
