Planning a private event at a rented villa in Marbella works differently from hosting at home. You do not know the kitchen, the owner's house rules decide what is possible, and you are often only there for a few days. A handful of agreements up front makes it straightforward anyway.

Check three things in the rental contract first: is a party allowed, how many guests may attend, and until what time outdoor music is permitted. Many urbanisations around Marbella apply a noise limit from 23.00 or 24.00. Get this confirmed in writing by the owner or property manager, so the deposit never becomes a discussion afterwards.

Send us the name of the urbanisation and the access instructions with your request. We report to security well before the start, and gated communities often need a number plate and a name list. That saves half an hour of waiting at the gate.

The villa itself needs very little: outdoor space, a power socket and access to water. We cook outdoors on our own equipment and use the villa kitchen at most for refrigeration — so the owner's kitchen stays untouched. Afterwards we clear everything away and take the waste with us.

On the menu side, a standing concept works best at a rented villa: walking bites €42 p.p., live paella €38 p.p. or BBQ €45 p.p., from 20 guests and including chef, service staff, tableware and clean-up. Drinks packages are chosen separately from €18 p.p. Guests staying several days often combine a welcome BBQ with an evening of walking bites.
