MAREA brings live BBQ catering to villas and gardens in Marbella, the Golden Mile, Nueva Andalucía, Puerto Banús and San Pedro. We arrive with our own grills and prepare meat, fish and vegetables where guests can watch.
The Mediterranean BBQ menu starts at €45 per person for 25 guests. Chef, service, tableware, setup and clean-up are included; the venue only needs a safe outdoor area with access to power and water.

Our BBQ catering is not a standard barbecue: your own chef stays at the grill all evening and serves straight from the fire. Guests pick up freshly grilled dishes the moment they are ready — no buffet going cold.
The BBQ menu costs €45 p.p. with a minimum of 25 guests and includes entrecôte, marinated chicken skewers, merguez, grilled vegetables and salads. Drinks packages start at €18 p.p. Everything includes grills, service staff, setup and clean-up.

A BBQ in Marbella is rarely a plate on your lap; it is a long afternoon or evening outdoors. Our chef works the grill in rounds: skewers and grilled vegetables first, then steak and fish, so something warm keeps coming while guests stand and talk.
We bring our own grill, refrigeration, tableware and staff. Your villa does not need an outdoor kitchen — a terrace, garden or poolside is enough.

BBQ catering in Marbella costs €45 per person with us, from 25 guests. That covers the chef at the grill, service staff, our own grill and refrigeration, tableware, setup and full clean-up afterwards.
Drinks packages are chosen separately: Essential €18 p.p. with wine, beer and soft drinks, Classic €28 p.p. with cocktails and cava, Premium €45 p.p. with champagne. If you combine the BBQ with walking bites (€42 p.p.) or live paella (€38 p.p.), we quote one combined price per person.
What comes off the grill
We work meat, fish and vegetables side by side: secreto ibérico and entrecôte from the charcoal, prawns and sea bream from the plancha, and vegetables such as grilled asparagus, peppers and aubergine with romesco. Alongside there are salads, bread with alioli and warm sides.
Vegetarian and gluten-free guests get a full plate of their own, not just a salad. Let us know the numbers with your quote request and we adjust the shopping list.
How a BBQ afternoon or evening runs
We arrive about two hours before the start to set up the grill, refrigeration and serving points. When guests arrive there is a first round of cold bites and drinks ready, so the grill can come up to temperature calmly.
After that we grill in rounds of roughly twenty minutes. Guests stay on their feet and keep moving; no long set tables are needed. After the final round we clear everything away and take the waste with us.
BBQ at home in Marbella: what we need on site
For a BBQ at home in Marbella we need outdoor space of roughly three by two metres, a power socket and access to water. An outdoor kitchen or built-in barbecue is not required; we bring everything.
In urbanisations with smoke restrictions we use gas or a plancha instead of charcoal. Give us the name of the urbanisation with your request and we arrange access with security in advance.

Charcoal by default, for the flavour. On roof terraces and in gated communities with restrictions we use gas or a plancha.
Can you combine the BBQ with walking bites?
Yes, that is the most chosen setup: walking bites during drinks first, then the grill. We match the quantities to the length of your party.
How many guests can you handle with a BBQ?
From 25 up to around 120 guests. From about 60 guests we add a second grill and an extra serving point so no queue forms.
How long does a BBQ catering last?
Count on four hours of service, plus two hours of setup beforehand and about an hour to break down. Running longer is possible; we agree that in the quote in advance.
Can you also grill at a rental villa?
Yes. We grill on our own equipment, outdoors and on a protected surface, and clear everything away. That keeps the rental villa's deposit out of the discussion.
What happens if it rains?
We work under a canopy or marquee and move the serving points indoors. Every quote includes a weather plan for your location.
How far in advance should I book a BBQ in Marbella?
In July and August preferably six to eight weeks ahead. Outside high season two to three weeks is usually enough. You normally receive the quote within 24 hours.
